Big Changes Coming Soon!

I have spent much of the last two years traveling, working hard, learning and building an even stronger portfolio. With growth comes change, as a result I am happy to announce that 2012 will be my "Official Year". Shannon Lee Fotography will soon become Shutter Vixen by Shannon Lee! This was not an easy decision and it is one that I have been exploring so to speak for the better part of the year. I am excited about the change and cannot wait for the roll out of my new website and blog. As many of you may have noticed, I haven't been posting as much on this one. Primarily because I am building content for my new rollout! Please continue to check back often, eventually this site will forward you to the new website and blog. I want to thank everyone for supporting Shannon Lee Fotography, I can't wait for everyone to see Shutter Vixen!

The Lallathin Family!

The World really is a small place! A few years ago I purchased a guitar at a local shop and was assisted by a guy who was extremely helpful as I was a total novice in the guitar department! A couple of months ago a new guy joined our team and he looked really familiar to me. Upon us having a conversation we quickly realized that Chris was the guy who sold me that guitar!
Chris and his wife recently added a new member to their beautiful family, baby Darcy!
 I was fortunate enough to get to shoot this wonderful family on Park Ave in Winter Park, FL.

Vin and Vincent!

Last Sunday I got to shoot a pretty awesome Father and Son pair! Vin and his 9 year old son Vincent, the shoot only took about an hour and I have to say they were  great to hang with. Vincent is such a mini-Vin honestly one of the best kids I have ever worked with!

Portraits of Love and Shannon Lee

It's almost that time again! Portraits of Love contacted me last week to see if I would be doing another season with them and how could I possibly say no?! The Photo Imaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMDA) and Soldiers' Angels have joined forces to send over 10,000 free family portraits to deployed soldiers around the globe this holiday season. Over the course of the next couple of months materials should be arriving and I will begin to book free appointments around my schedule.I intend to donate as much of my time as possible shooting family portraits for those interested! Once the materials are here and everything is set up I will post all of the updates and instructions; so please check back often.

Fitness and Lifestyle Shoot

I am currently working on a project with the extremely talented Jamie Magnor. Jamie is not only a friend, but a superior athlete and performance trainer in Central Florida who is changing the way people look at everyday fitness and healthy living. Her goal is create a community of athletes, individuals and families through personalized training, outdoor activities and team building. All of which will supply variety to her clients while involving other outdoor sporting and activity groups. Jamie is not only extremely knowledgeable, but she is passionate and driven in her endeavor to not only help others succeed but to make sure that they have a wonderful experience as well. We got together recently to do the first of a series of shoots for her up and coming blog site. The series will include athletic, lifestyle/activities, healthy eating and short video clips all of which will be incorporated on her up and coming company site.
